Psychotherapy and Consulting ServicesThe Lifeline Center, a psychotherapy and consulting practice, was founded in the 1980's by Carol Forgash, LCSW, and Hank Glaser, LCSW. The office is in Smithtown, Long Island, NY. In our psychotherapy practice, we offer state-of-the-art therapeutic techniques, including EMDR, ego state work, and stress management, to help individuals and families to grow, heal, and learn. Both therapists treat individuals, couples, and families. In addition to working with general therapy issues, we specialize in trauma therapy, relational and family issues, parenting issues, sexual difficulties, anxiety, depression. Fees are set by the individual therapist. Clients may able to be reimbursed by their insurance companies. Hours are by appointment. Hank specializes in work with children and adolescents, couples and family therapy. Carol is trained in EMDR therapy. She specializes in work with PTSD and trauma, health and wellness issues.
